60 hours, 21 minutes and 24 seconds – this was the time Robert Karaś achieved during the five-time Ironman, thanks to which he broke the world record set by another Pole – Adrian Kostera. As part of the competition, the competitors had to swim 19 km, cycle 900 km and run the last 211 km. Karaś was the best once more, but the fans did not forget regarding his offense last year.

Let us recall that at the end of July 2023, a great storm broke out around Robert Karaś. All because meldonium and drostanolone, i.e. banned doping substances, were detected in his body. A few months earlier, during the Brasil Ultra Tri competition in Rio de Janeiro, the athlete broke the record of the ten-time Ironman, which consists of: 38 km of swimming, 1,800 km of cycling and 422 km of running. – This was the only time I agreed to something like this before the fight, because I thought that these measures only worked temporarily for a few hours – he explained at the time Crucian carp. The consequence of his ignorance was disqualification by the IUTA federation until May 29, 2025, and the record achieved was invalidated.
Now Robert Karaś’s success has not been clearly recognized. One fan accused him of lacking objectivity. “By IUTA – which doesn’t mean he can’t compete in another WUTA federation… I’m not a fan of Karaś, but a bit of objectivity won’t hurt. Let Mr. Stanowski cast the first stone…” – he wrote. “Well, I’m quitting. I’m not disqualified by any federation,” Stanowski replied ironically.
Marcin Borzęcki from Channel Sporty also responded to the “Jurasa” entry. “Actually funny,” he wrote, adding a note regarding Karaś’s disqualification.

In turn, another Internet user said that Karaś “is sick of winning in abstract disciplines, but he is terrified of competing at typical distances.” There was also a stir under this entry. The athlete’s fans and opponents argued with each other, and the discussion included profanity and a harsh exchange of arguments.
