Inclusion and Laughter: Lucho Miranda’s Viña del Mar Festival Debut

It was during the fourth night of the Viña del Mar Festival when Lucho Miranda made his successful debut on the Quinta Vergara stage, with a routine in which he laughed at himself and addressed aspects such as his disability.

The comedian, who was born with cerebral palsy, jokingly alluded to topics such as his diction complications and even the Telethon, an event of which he was a patient since his childhood.

From his perspective, “true inclusion” is laughing alongside people with disabilities.

In this way and with certain sexual jokes, he conquered the Viña public with a presentation that earned him the Gold and Silver Seagulls.

In this sense, one of the moments that generated the most reactions was when he referred to Rodrigo Rojas Vade.

It should be remembered that the latter is a former member of the Constitutional Convention who was convicted of residual fraud, because he pretended to suffer from cancer to obtain benefits.

Later, it was claimed that he actually suffered from other diagnoses, but not the one he had claimed.

During her presentation, Miranda said: “I became known on social networks like TikTok and Instagram, although I was also on TV.”

“Of course, I didn’t want to go to TV, because they told me that TV lies. ‘I fight, don’t go on TV because he’s lying,’ they told me,” added the comedian in Viña.

Then he finished: “Then I got scared. What if people think I don’t have a disability? 28 years of being like this for people to doubt my condition. Just like: ‘No, it must be like ‘Pelao Vade.'”
