AFA reinforces second position in the Luanda Football League – Jornal OPaís

This Sunday, the Angolan Football Academy (AFA) beat Moniz FC, seven balls unanswered, in a challenge played at the Glória field, in the country’s capital, in a match related to the sixteenth round of the first edition of the Football League from Luanda (LFL).

Therefore, the students reinforce their second position with 36 points, while Moniz remains in the red zone, that is, in 15th position with just nine points.

As the round continued, remember, Petro de Luanda, champions of the first round, lived up to their status as title holders and beat Matilha FC, by three balls to zero, with goals from Maia, Damilson and Maninho.

The tricolors command the competition. For their part, Atlético Sport Aviação (ASA) did not go beyond a goalless draw, on the field adjacent to the Estádio Nacional 11 de Novembro, in Luanda.

Interclube B beat FC Renascer Estoril, by two balls to zero. On the RI20 field, Elite Real and Luanda City were nothing more than a 2-2 draw, while Lobos lost to Kambas, due to an unanswered ball.

RSD Guelson beat Calemba, by two unanswered balls.

It should be noted that the 17th round begins, this Wednesday, with the challenge that will put the teams of Luanda City and Nedji AFC face to face, on the field adjacent to the Estádio 11 de Novembro, starting at 9:00 am.

This round also reserves the following clashes. Angola Football Academy (AFA) – Calemba FC, Interclube B – Kambas FC, Lobos – Elite Real, ASA – Escola do Zango and Petro de Luanda B – 1º de Agosto B.
