At 3.83%, the three-month interest yield of the Greek Treasury bills was set at today’s auction (31.1.2024).
In the previous auction, the interest rate on promissory notes was set at 3.84%. Total bids of €1.016 billion were submitted, exceeding the asking amount by 1.63 times. The Greek State will ultimately raise 810 million euros (625 million euros the initially auctioned amount as well as non-competitive offers amounting to 187.5 million euros).
According to the newsit, the auction was conducted through Primary Dealers, and the settlement date is Friday, February 2, 2024. Bids up to the auction amount were accepted, as well as non-competitive bids of 187.5 million. euro.
No additional non-competitive bids will be accepted on Thursday, February 1, 2024. Please note that no commission is paid during auctions.
