Pre-sale of the new Xiaomi flagship – the 14 Ultra model will start on March 3, and its price has been set at PLN 6,799. It’s not cheap, but the most important thing is, what do we get for this price?
The heart of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is, of course Snapdragon 8 Gen 3and in the edition available in Poland they will accompany him 16 GB LPDDR5X operating memory and 512 GB of fast memory for UFS 4.0 data.

The smartphone was received stereo speakersfour microphones, card Wi-Fi 7Bluetooth 5.4 module, NFC and USB 3.2 Type C port.
In the power supply section, Xiaomi focused on a high-capacity battery 5000 mAhwhich can be charged via wire with efficiency 90 W and induction with efficiency 80 W.

The dimensions of Xiaomi 14 Ultra are 161.4 x 75.3 x 9.2 millimeters and its weight is 220 grams. The device’s screen is protected by specially developed glass Xiaomi Shield Glassa the back panel is covered with imitation leather. Xiaomi 14 Ultra will be available in white and black colors. The device’s casing is waterproof – certified IP68.

However, what distinguishes the new Xiaomi flagship from its competitors is its advanced main camera.
It consists of four modules with a resolution of 50 MP – standard with a mechanical, virtually stepless mechanical aperture f/1.6-f/4 (PDAF, OIS, 23 mm equivalent focal length, Sony LYT-900 sensor, 1″) wide angle (f/1.8, AF, 12 mm focal length equivalent, Sony IMX858 matrix), TV 3.2x (f/1.8, PDAF, OIS, equivalent focal length of 75 mm, Sony IMX858 matrix, macro from 10 cm) and periscope TV 5x (f/2.5, PDAF, OIS, 120 mm focal length equivalent, Sony IMX858 matrix, macro from 30 cm).

Xiaomi also focused heavily on the video section in the 14 Ultra model. The smartphone records 8K / 30 fps videos with all camera modules. We also have at our disposal 10-bit LOG mode allowing greater freedom of subsequent processing and better recording HDR materials, even in the very wide Rec.2020 color space (wider than cinema DCI-P3).
The front camera has a resolution of 32 MP (f/2.0), but unfortunately it still lacks an autofocus system.
