The joy of the people of Gdańsk following scoring a goal in Pruszków. In the middle, Maksym Chłań, a Ukrainian striker who may not impress with his physical abilities, but is extremely fast, aggressive and technically advanced – watching him play is simply a pleasure

Pruszków for 3 points
It was the second match for league points this year and the second sure victory for Lechia. Znicz Pruszków fought ambitiously on its home pitch, but was unable to do much once morest the well-disposed Gdańsk team. With better efficiency, it might have just as easily been 3:0 or 4:0.
About Lechia – before the resumption of the games in the spring
- Lechia took the lead in the 35th minute. First, a fantastic – long and precise – pass by Andrei Chindris, who sent the ball from the right wing to the left, to Maksym Chłań. The Gdańsk striker received the ball nicely and quickly moved towards the Znicz penalty area. The defenders would probably have stopped him, but Chłań passed the ball to the well-placed Rifet Kapić, who quickly took it away from him. The speeding Chłań found himself with the ball on the left side of Znicz’s goal, he had a quite sharp angle, but he brilliantly hit the ball past the goalkeeper, so that it fell into the net following the crossbar, close to the right window.
- Chłań’s second goal was scored following the break. In the 52nd minute offensive action of the Gdańsk team on the right side of the pitch. Camilo Mena received the ball in the penalty area, who effectively deceived the defenders and passed the ball to the center of the penalty area to the better positioned Chłoń. A strange and very nice goal: the Gdańsk striker hit the ball from the air, and it fell with a rather high lob into the left window of Znicz’s goal.
Snitch had a hard time, but he fought
Lechia dominated in every respect: there was a lot of first-ball play, dynamics, almost 70% ball possession and dangerous shots. Znicz’s chances further decreased when Shuma Nagamatsu was shown a red card just before the break – for a brutal foul on Dominik Piła.
Znicz played ambitiously and even gained the advantage in the last 20 minutes. The weakened hosts almost scored a goal. In the 75th minute, a goal for Znicz, scored by Jakub Wawszczyk, was disallowed. The referee found that there had been a foul on Dawid Bugaj. The result did not change until the end of the match.
A successful start to the year for Lechia. Sure victory 3:1 once morest Wisła Płock
Lechia coach Szymon Grabowski has reasons to be satisfied: following the winter preparation camp, he announced that the Gdańsk team would play better and more effectively in the spring. So far, everything looks fantastic – Lechia confirms that it is one of the favorites in the fight for the top league
