The company also demands that all development be stopped and accuses the authors of Yuzu of causing Tears of the Kingdom spoilers to appear online.
Nintendo’s legal department always finds new work: now the Japanese company’s lawyers are trying to drag the authors of Yuzu to court, intending to recover material compensation from the creators of the most popular Nintendo Switch emulator for the damage caused by their activities, as well as to stop all developments related to it.
In its lawsuit, Nintendo notes that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom was downloaded more than 1 million times before its official release. Moreover, the number of Patreon subscribers for the emulator’s creators doubled during that period, which means that by their actions, the Yuzu developers are helping piracy flourish.
Big N also believes that Yuzu is the reason there have been so many Tears of the Kingdom spoilers online.
