According to the authorities’ investigations, the actions are carried out as part of the investigation of the assault on a bingo hall located in zone 9 of the capital that occurred in the early hours of last Monday, February 19, which left a security guard dead from gunshot wounds. .
The raid is due to the fact that, according to the first hypothesis of the security forces, workers from the funeral home are part of the gang that committed the robbery, although complicity with employees of the attacked place is not ruled out.
The procedure began at 6 in the morning on Friday, February 23, and it was necessary to demolish a protective fence on the premises to begin the process of seeking to seize evidence of the assault.

The assault on the bingo hall in zone 9 was recorded by the security cameras at the location. It happened during the early morning, when the employees of the place were preparing to close the store.
In the images you can see how the employees run to hide, while the first shots ring out. In that exchange, the security guard, identified as Ismael Rodríguez, who opposed the assault, was injured and ended up dying at the scene.
A day later, the PNC reported the capture of a 31-year-old man, identified as Martín “N” in zone 1, who is believed to be part of the gang that committed the assault and had a gunshot wound to his chest. left shoulder.
