Moustapha Niasse’s strong statement on dialogue: “The organization of an election..”

During a press conference chaired by the Bby coalition, Moustapha Niasse expressed his appreciation for the content of the interview given by the President of the Republic Macky Sall to the press last Thursday.

“This exchange captivated national and international opinion thanks to the clarity and precision of the measures announced, in accordance with all the commitments set out in the press release published by the Presidency of the Republic, the day following decision number 1/c/ 2024 of the Constitutional Council dated February 15, 2024″, underlined the former president of the National Assembly, Moustapha Niasse.

In the same vein, the presidential coalition is committed to fully supporting its president for the perfect success of the dialogue. In addition, this same coalition invites all political forces in the country, without exception, civil society and all the active forces of the nation to participate in this beneficial dialogue.

“The Bby coalition hopes that this dialogue will once once more be a great moment of open and frank consultation on the conditions for organizing a peaceful election, as the President of the Republic wishes, so that Senegal emerges strengthened in as a great nation attached to its status as the rule of law and determined to resolutely pursue the democratic construction of its development,” reaffirmed the president of the Alliance of Forces for Progress AFP while reading the declaration. In conclusion, Moustapha Niasse launches an appeal to the 291 components of Bby to unite and guarantee the victory of candidate Amadou Bâ in the first round.
