Szczecin has a new attraction for residents and tourists. This is the Water Factory

“The water in the pools is already roaring, the saunas are heating up, and the educational center is waiting for explorers. The Water Factory is ready!”, we read on the profile promoting the facility on Facebook. The Aquapark has also published a price list. How much will tickets for individual attractions of the Water Factory cost?

The water park in Szczecin was created as part of the vision of modernizing the city. The idea is to develop Szczecin into an ecological metropolis that will be surrounded by water and greenery – Szczecin Floating Garden 2050. The construction of the Water Factory is one of the elements of the Second Program Agreement for Szczecin.

As we read on the facility’s website, “Water Factory is not only great fun in swimming pools and on slides,” because education is also an extremely important element of this water park.

– Learning through play is the most important assumption of the Water Factory. The educational path will be developed based on the core curriculum for teaching nature, physics, chemistry and biology, and therefore may constitute an alternative form of conducting school classes at every educational stage and activating society as part of the University of the Third Age classes – reads the announcement on the investment.

These assumptions have already been partially implemented – the Water Factory is now officially ready.

Fabryka Wody has recreational pools with water toys, loungers and massagers, spa bathtubs, a 25-meter long sports pool, paddling pools for children, slides and many additional attractions. According to the facility’s spokesman, the saunarium will offer guests as many as 16 saunas, beer baths, a brine graduation tower, cooling pools and massage rooms. In the Edukatorium, visitors will discover scientific facts regarding water in 6 thematic blocks. Workshops and a play zone in the water gardens will also be available. The offer will be complemented by a sports zone consisting of a bowling alley and a climbing wall.

Although the Water Factory is already completed, it cannot be used yet. According to the city authorities, the facility is to be opened soon. “The most boring thing remains, i.e. paperwork. We are in the procedure of obtaining an occupancy permit,” said the mayor of Szczecin.

However, there is already an option to read Fabryka Wody’s price list. Tickets will be available in many variants – e.g. for selected zones or as combined packages for various attractions. Various discounts are available, e.g. in the form of a family ticket. You can choose between many options – saunarium, outdoor area, bowling alley, educational center, sports swimming pools, etc.
