Medical sources in Gaza said on Friday that half a million Palestinians in northern Gaza are suffering from famine that is silently killing their lives.
Medical sources explained that there are 350,000 patients suffering from chronic diseases, and regarding 60,000 pregnant women.
The sources indicated that regarding 700,000 children in the Gaza Strip are exposed to serious complications as a result of malnutrition, dehydration, and the lack of medical facilities.
She added that Israel places the residents of the Gaza Strip in a triangle represented by targeting, famine and epidemics, adding that the continuation of the war in the Gaza Strip means more genocide.
Also today, Friday, the administration of the Kamal Adwan Medical Complex in the northern Gaza Strip appealed to citizens to donate blood to save the sick and wounded in the hospital.
Deaths continue in Gaza
Meanwhile, Palestinian sources reported the following:
- 30 citizens were killed in Gaza City during the past 24 hours, including 15 in a bombing on the Nabulsi roundregarding.
- The death toll as a result of the Israeli bombing of the Al-Ghurais family home in the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip has risen to 9.
- 8 people were killed by Israeli bombing of civilian marches in the vicinity of Ashkelon School and the Al-Balad area in Khan Yunis, south of the Gaza Strip.
- 7 bodies arrived at the European Gaza Hospital as a result of the occupation targeting a group of civilians east of Khan Yunis.
- 19 were killed as a result of Israeli raids and shelling on Khan Yunis during the past 24 hours.
