Kira Yarmysh, the representative of the Russian opposition leader Oleksii Navalny, confirmed the fact of his murder.
As reported by Ukrinform, Yarmysh wrote regarding this in social networks H.
“Aleksii Navalny was killed. His death occurred on February 16 at 2:17 p.m. local time, as written in the official notice issued to Oleksiy’s mother,” the post reads.
A representative of the Russian opposition party noted that, according to a colony employee, Navalny’s body is in the city of Salekhard.

“He was taken away by the investigators of the Investigative Committee. Now they are conducting “research” with him. We demand that the body of Oleksiy Navalny be handed over to his family immediately,” added Yarmysh.
Later she informed social networks H, that Navalny’s lawyer and mother arrived at the Salekhard morgue. But they said there was no body in the morgue.
“It (the morgue – ed.) is closed despite the colony’s assurances that it is working and Navalny’s body is there. The lawyer called the phone number on the door. He was told that he was the seventh person to call today. They don’t have Oleksiy’s body in the morgue,” Yarmysh wrote.
She added, that, as Navalny’s other lawyer was informed in the Investigative Committee of Salekhard, “the cause of Oleksiy’s death has not been established, a repeated histological examination was taken.” Her results are supposed to be next week.
“Obviously, they are lying and doing everything to avoid revealing the body,” the politician’s spokeswoman said.
According to her, the Investigative Committee is straightforward statedthat Navalny’s body will not be handed over to his relatives until the inspection is over.
At the same time, Yarmysh claims, “an hour ago, the lawyers were told that the check was completed, no crime was detected.”
Meanwhile, Ivan Zhdanov is the director of the established Naval Fund for Combating Corruption of BC noted, that “the body is not released, as the cause of death has not been established.” According to him, the information spread by the state media regarding the alleged “blood clot” as the cause of the oppositionist’s death turned out to be a lie.
“At the same time, when the lawyer and Oleksia’s mother arrived at the colony this morning, they were told that the cause of Navalny’s death was sudden death syndrome.” wrote Zhdanov.
As Ukrinform reported, on February 16, the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Russian Federation announced that opposition Russian politician Oleksiy Navalny died in colony No. 3 in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District. According to the department’s report, Navalny felt sick following the walk, he fainted almost immediately. Emergency doctors who arrived on call might not resuscitate the prisoner.
