The biggest scam committed by a cooperative to the detriment of its members is taking place.
It consists of the following: CALF buys the energy from a wholesaler and then sells it to us, the members, I suppose at a slightly higher price (the cooperative is not for profit) to cover certain expenses.
CALF bought energy but didn’t pay for it! However, he charged us promptly every month. Nor does it appear as debt on the cooperative’s balance sheets, which is difficult to explain.
Now, CALF, supported by ordinance 14645 sanctioned by the Deliberative Council, through councilors who do not have to get involved in private matters, intends for us users to pay once more for something that we have already been paying for months.
Gentlemen, this is a scam! And someone has to answer for this fraudulent maneuver. The councilors who approved this ordinance have to take responsibility, they are our representatives, they have to defend our rights and not act politically defending the indefensible.
The Municipal Sindicatura (in my opinion non-existent) should act, it is in its task to control the behavior of the municipality, service providers and public officials. It did nothing with the disappearance of the municipal shield and it does nothing.
When politics intervenes, civil institutions are degraded.
Let’s support the neighbors who are promoting a public hearing, it is the only way to unmask those truly responsible for this maneuver.
