More childcare in Vöcklabruck | Nachrichten.at

The district capital is investing in more childcare. By the end of the year, two new toddler groups will be created at the Franciscan Sisters on Salzburger Straße. The two existing groups there will be accommodated in the parent building during the renovation and expansion. The municipality of Vöcklabruck is investing a total of 800,000 euros at the Salzburger Straße location.

Furthermore, the city council recently decided to build a kindergarten in the rectory area. In the first expansion stage, three kindergarten and two toddler groups will be created there. “We are aiming for cooperation with Pilsbach once more, as there is no childcare facility there,” says Education City Councilor Bianca Lindinger (SPÖ).

The ÖVP Vöcklabruck sees the new vicarage kindergarten as an implementation of their demand. “We are investing here not only in the future of our children, but also in the attractiveness of our city center,” explains Deputy Mayor David Soucek-Hofmann.
