Dani Alves is sentenced to 4.5 years in prison, Spanish media reports.
The former soccer star is convicted of rape in a nightclub.
During the police investigation and the legal process for just over a year, the 40-year-old has been in custody.
The incident occurred in the toilet of a nightclub in Barcelona during the night of December 30, 2022.
Dani Alves has denied the accusations, but he has changed his version several times in the interrogations.
The woman stated that she was beaten, insulted and forced into sex.
Millions in damages
In addition to the prison sentence, the Brazilian football profile must pay damages to the crime victim of 150,000 euros, corresponding to almost 1.7 million Swedish kronor.
He is also sentenced to 9.5 years of restraining order and five years of supervised release.
As a right-back, Dani Alves was one of the biggest football stars of the 2000s.
Among other things, he played nine seasons in Barcelona, won three Champions Leagues and played 124 international matches for Brazil.
