Security forces arrested 45 people accused of the crime of extortion in a large-scale operation this Tuesday, February 20which was carried out with the objective of impacting the Barrio 18 and Mara Salvatrucha gangs.

The Public Ministry (MP) reported that the detainees are linked to these criminal structures that, according to investigations, were dedicated to preying on merchants.
