Theo Francken was the guest on Bel RTL’s 7:50 a.m. show this Wednesday, February 21. He answered questions from Martin Buxant, in particular regarding the N-VA candidate for the next elections in June, Bart De Wever.

Bart De Wever would be a good Prime Minister for French speakers. In any case, this is what Theo Francken assured this Wednesday morning at Martin Buxant’s microphone. “He is capable of being Prime Minister”, affirmed the N-VA federal deputy before continuing. “He doesn’t want to separate Belgium, I think that’s important to know.”he announced. “But he wants to improve the functioning of the state.”

For Theo Francken, Bart De Wever’s experience in Antwerp proves that he has the stature of a Prime Minister. “He is a statesman, a mayor who has given a lot to Antwerp, who has really improved the budgetary situation, but who has also really improved the general situation in Antwerp”he noted.

In a seduction operation for French-speaking voters, Theo Francken also underlined, with a smile on his lips, that Bart De Wever “speaks French very well”. Before getting back to serious: “I am sure he will be a good Prime Minister.”before repeating, responding to the fears of certain citizens. “No, he absolutely does not want to separate Belgium. He will reform the country because it is necessary today.”
