Lent has begun. Therefore, as every year, during forty days of penance and conversion, the Stations of the Cross will take place on the hills of Kalwaria Wejherowska. In the gallery you can see photos from the first Friday service in Wejherowo.
The first Stations of the Cross on Kalwaria Wejherowska in 2024 took place on Friday, February 16. Traditionally, following the Holy Mass, the participants went from the monastery church in Wejherowo to Calvary. As usual, the Wejherowo city guard ensured the safety of the faithful during the service.

Stations of the Cross on the Wejherowo hills take place on Fridays during Lent, from February 16 to March 29, 2024. They start at 2.30 p.m. at the monastery at ul. Reformati. Right following the service, residents go to Kalwaria Wejherowska.
Traditionally, during Lent, three performances prepared by the Kashubian Misters will also take place in Wejherowo, i.e. “Jesus’ entry into Jerusalem” on Palm Sunday, “the way of capture” on Holy Thursday and the Stations of the Cross on Good Friday.
