The Regional Government of Ñuble and the Technical Cooperation Service announced the implementation of three programs aimed at promoting the creation and strengthening of local SMEs, with the aim of contributing to productive and economic development in the region.
The initiatives will be executed by Sercotec with resources from the National Regional Development Fund (FNDR) and will be focused on the Lag Zone made up of the communes of Cobquecura, Quirihue, Quillón, San Nicolás, Trehuaco, Ninhue, Portezuelo, Coelemu and Ránquil.
There will be a total budget of $1,000 million, with which it is expected to reach coverage of 195 beneficiaries, through different calls that will be announced between January and March.
The first to open its applications is the FNDR Rezago Emprende, which was launched this morning in an activity headed by the general manager of Sercotec, Cecilia Schröder, and the regional governor of Ñuble, Óscar Crisóstomo, who provided details regarding this initiative.
In this regard, Governor Crisóstomo highlighted that “this is an effort that the Regional Government is making, it involves $1,000 million that is made available to small and medium-sized businesses in the Itata Valley; where we are going to work together with Sercotec on three instruments that are focused on economic growth, targeting growth. Each of the programs has been a process of dialogue that we have had with our producers to be able to address those needs that they themselves have presented to us and that also allows us to generate entrepreneurship, greater capacity, and formalization.”
“The initiatives that we announce today are the result of a virtuous alliance generated between Sercotec and the Regional Government, which has a budget of 1,000 million pesos to benefit 195 local entrepreneurs and micro and small businesses in three programs focused on entrepreneurship, such as Emprende to formalize business projects so that they last over time; It grows for established companies that seek to increase their sales and Digitize your Warehouse, which provides digital tools to neighborhood businesses. All of them are programs that contribute to the economic development of the 9 communes in the backward area. To apply, interested persons must be of legal age, not have started activities in the first category before the Internal Revenue Service and present a business project that meets the focus defined by the call in the region, the details of which are indicated in the application bases. If they are selected, they must provide a contribution equivalent to 2% of the subsidy amount and finance any taxes associated with their project.
In addition, to apply you must have a residence in one of the communes of the Lag Zone: Cobquecura, Quirihue, Quillón, San Nicolás, Trehuaco, Ninhue, Portezuelo, Coelemu and Ránquil.
The application is made through the site www.sercotec.cl, where interested parties must register as users and carefully read the bases and annexes of the call. Then they must answer an entrepreneurship test and complete the application form, along with a presentation video and the required documents, verifying that they comply with the requested format and content.
