Aisha Al Hosani, General Coordinator of the Dibba Al Hisn Duo Theater Festival, announced the participation of 5 countries in the performances of the seventh session of the festival, which began on Friday with an Emirati theatrical performance entitled “Some Things.”

The activities of the seventh session of the Dibba Al-Hisn Duo Theater Festival kicked off on Friday, which is organized by the Theater Department of the Department of Culture at the Cultural Center Theater in Dibba Al-Hisn, and its activities will continue until February 20.
The festival’s performances began with a theatrical performance entitled “Some Things”, from the Emirates, by author Fadi Girgis and director Mohamed Jumaa. The performance was witnessed by a number of officials, artists, those interested in theater, and a large crowd of the audience.
Aisha Al Hosani, general coordinator of the Dibba Al Hisn Duo Theater Festival, said in statements to Sharjah 24 that the seventh edition is full of theatrical performances from the Emirates, Egypt, Morocco, Kuwait, and Syria.
She added that the festival is accompanied by a rich cultural program, as the activities of the 19th Sharjah Forum for Arab Theater are held on its sidelines, entitled “Theatre and the Future.”
Al Hosani explained that the program also includes three artistic workshops on: “Directing Techniques in Contemporary Theater,” “Dramatic Writing Techniques,” and “Developing the Actor’s Imagination and Expressive Abilities.”
