“Lali Depósito”: several celebrities came out to criticize Javier Milei and supported the artist

Intellectuals, writers and journalists expressed their discontent on social networks following the statements of President Javier Milei once morest Lali Espósito.

During an interview on LN+, Milei referred to the actress and singer as “Lali Depósito”, a nickname widely used on the internet. She criticized state funding of festivals and musical shows, citing a recital by the artist that cost $350,000.

Later, in a report with Radio La Red, the president once more targeted Lali: “If it bothers you that they call you Lali Depósito, I’m sorry. “Lali Depósito was left.”

On her X account, Milei “liked” tweets with artificial intelligence cartoons showing Lali Espósito fleeing with money, pursued by malnourished children. In addition, she hinted that the singer was playing backup in her shows, generating more controversy.
