Austria and other countries extend suspension of digital tax – network policy

Austria and four other European countries have agreed with the USA on an extended suspension of the taxation of digital services. A joint statement from the office of US Trade Representative Katherine Tai along with Austria, the UK, France, Italy and Spain said an October 2021 agreement to suspend threatened US retaliatory tariffs on digital taxes until March 30 June will be extended.
