They are self-flowing wells that originate from a depth of up to a thousand meters, and their temperature is 28 degrees Celsius, surrounded by large areas of greenery. The efficiency and development of the Nasser Tourist Camp and Well in Nasser Al-Thawra village in the center of Al-Kharga was also raised, which includes tourist camps and groundwater wells and is surrounded by palm trees, domes and ornamental trees and has been equipped for recreational trips since the sixties. It was named Nasser Well following the late President Gamal Abdel Nasser, in light of the establishment of New villages in the governorate by the Desert Reconstruction Authority in the sixties.
