– Ralph Müller becomes the new boss of Ruag
The federally owned defense company has found a new CEO following an interim solution. In 2023, boss Brigitte Beck resigned.
The federally owned defense company Ruag MRO has appointed Ralph Müller as the new CEO as of March 1, 2024. According to an announcement on Wednesday, he is moving to Ruag from the Lucerne technology group Schurter, where he also recently served as CEO.
As the new operational boss, Müller replaces Thomas Kipfer and Christian Priller, who have been leading the company on an interim basis since August 2023. The previous boss, Brigitte Beck, had already left the company following just under half a year following controversial statements regarding the neutrality policy.
After the split of the Ruag Group, Ruag MRO is primarily active as a technology partner for the Swiss Army. In contrast, the international part consists primarily of the Beyond Gravity area, which is primarily active in the space business.
