The prominent Salvadoran entrepreneur, Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Digital Company “Grupo Plan B”, Julio Mejía, was recently selected as the new Marketing Director of the Chamber of Commerce of Salvadorans in Florida (SALCHAM).

This is the result of the vision and work that has been developed for years in El Salvador, above all, in its contribution to the revitalization of the national economy.

Likewise, he highlighted that the main objective of this association is to keep its members informed and updated in areas related to business; as well as the promotion of events that result in challenges and opportunities for its members.

The Chamber has worked for years to ensure that its members can take advantage of the extensive network of contacts, through events, both in the private and government sectors, providing institutional support for the effective promotion of their businesses.

“When I was asked to be an active member of the chamber, I saw an opportunity for all entrepreneurs in El Salvador, since as a businessman I know first-hand all the effort required to develop a business and, even more so, export,” Mejía stressed.

He mentioned that he has managed to observe the existence of investment that can be focused on the area of ​​services, software development and technology in general; also, the potential of El Salvador as a destination for investment.

“This is not a political issue, it is regarding doing business from El Salvador to the United States and from the United States to El Salvador,” concluded the CEO of Plan B.
