Cosquín Rock 2024: with Divididos, Babasónico and Skay, more than 45,000 people experienced the most federal festival in the country

Summer, music and pure pogo, with those three keys, Cosquín Rock lived its first day to the fullest. The festival, which brought together the best of Argentine music, shone with great exponents such as: Divididos, Babasónico, Skay, Airbag, Dillom and Lali Espósito. In total, more than 45,000 people enjoyed the event that mobilized people from each province and neighboring countries such as Chile, Uruguay and even Mexico.

Divided into six stages, the most federal festival in the country provided a day of pure color. From early on, exponents such as Broke Carrey, Dante Spinetta, Bándalos Chinos, Natalie Pérez and Silvestre y La Naranja mobilized the tables from end to end throughout the venue.

With the clock showing 6:30 p.m., Airbag closed the followingnoon with pure rock. With a varied show, in which there was no shortage of milestones, the Sardelli brothers made thousands of people jump. During the course they invited a fan to play with them, they performed the Argentine anthem on the guitar and closed with the tango ‘Por una Cabeza’.

Almost in parallel, Miranda! was one of the first bands to start the followingnoon/night. With their show inspired by the Hotel Miranda!, the duo made up of Ale Sergi and Juliana Gattas unleashed the party in Córdoba.

At 8 p.m., the South stage welcomed one of the symbols of rock: Divididos. With Ricardo Mollo at the helm, the trio unleashed madness in Cosquín. At the end of the show, Mollo came down and greeted the people, handed out hundreds of picks and shook hands with many fans who crowded around the fence to be as close as possible to his idol. Meanwhile, Catriel ‘set the drums on fire’ with his talent.

At the same moment, but on the North stage, Dillom unleashed his madness. After the success of his album Post Mortem, the 23-year-old mobilized the masses. In addition to the songs he chose to perform, the singer added a cover of “Mr. Cobranza”, the renowned Bersuit Vergarabat song that he used to mark his political position on the libertarian government. “They have to kill Caputo in the square,” he attacked.

At 9 p.m., the queen of Argentine Pop made history on the Montaña stage. With a shiny silver look, Lali came out on stage and had her first Cosquín Rock party to the fullest. However, one of the most viral moments of the night occurred when the local pop queen changed the lyrics of ‘Who are they?’ and she pointed out once morest all the hate that she had experienced weeks ago: “I do live off the State.”

At the end, on that same stage, Tiago PZK appeared before the people. The 22-year-old young man, originally from Monte Grande, dazzled with his music and won applause when he performed ‘Crimen’, by Gustavo Cerati. “As we are at Cosquín Rock, I want to pay tribute to a great artist who is not with us on this earth, but he will always be in our hearts.”

Then it was the turn of Skay and the Fakires, while a few meters away Adrián Dárgelos unleashed all his charisma and sensuality on stage. Later, the night continued with Mateo Sujatovich, from Knowing Russia and the show Los Auténticos Decadentes. The grand finale was performed by Claptone, on the Montaña stage.
