“The investigation has all the necessary orders regarding the seizure of the property of the Hrynkevich family. We are talking regarding the husband, wife, son, mother-in-law, as well as the artist girl to whom the son was engaged, – stated Sapyan on the telethon of news. – All property seizure orders have now been sent to the Ministry of Justice, following which the seizure data will be entered into the register. We will be able to see that these are land plots in different regions of Ukraine (in the Kyiv, Lviv, Transcarpathian regions), premium-class cars, manufactured in 2022. And, of course, the apartments themselves, registered to Ihor Hrynkevich’s mother-in-law, wife and son. As for the bride-artist, there is a decree to seize her property. We will remind you that Sonya Morozyuk previously stated that her real estate was bought “in whole or in part” with her father’s money even before she met Roman Hrynkevich.

“There are apartments. But. My father bought one for himself (having previously sold real estate in Kharkiv) and issued a share for me. He is the payer, it is his money, not mine. I bought the second one with partial help from my father, and he is a co-owner. The first apartment was purchased August 16, 2022, the second – June 2, 2022. We met Roman Hrynkevich almost a year following these purchases,” Morozyuk wrote.

It soon became clear that the 25-year-old artist had previously given two apartments and a gallery in Kyiv as collateral to her mother, and they became unavailable for arrest. She allegedly signed a loan agreement with her mother for UAH 7 million.

We will remind that Ihor Hrynkevich was detained when he tried to bribe the investigative department of the State Security Bureau. A businessman whose companies were the largest suppliers of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine offered 500,000 dollars to have his property seized. The amount of damage that Hrynkevich and his accomplices might cause to Ukraine is estimated at 1.2 billion UAH.

In addition to the Lviv businessman and his son, three more citizens of Ukraine who cooperated with the Grynevychs were suspected. Their property is also under arrest. Those involved in the high-profile case face imprisonment for up to 12 years with confiscation of property.
