The United States Embassy in Havana announces the availability of the Visa Bulletin for the month of March for Family Claim cases in family preference categories F1 to F4.

The United States Embassy in Havana has announced that the Visa Bulletin for the month of March is now available for those who have a Family Claim case in family preference categories F1 to F4.

“The news you were most waiting for has arrived! If you have a Family Claim case in the family preference categories F1 to F4, the Visa Bulletin for the Month of March is now available,” they tweeted on February 13.

The family preference categories are the following, according to the Visa Bulletin:

– First (F1): Single children of US citizens. 23,400 visas are allocated, plus any number not required for the fourth preference.
-Second: Spouses and children, and single children of permanent residents. 114,200 visas are allocated, plus the number (if any) by which the global family preference level exceeds 226,000, plus any unused first preference numbers.
– (F2A): Spouses and children of permanent residents. 77% of the general second preference limit is allocated, of which 75% is exempt from the limit per country.
– (F2B): Unmarried children (21 years of age or older) of permanent residents. 23% of the general second preference limit is allocated.
– Third (F3): Married children of US citizens. 23,400 visas are allocated, plus any number not required by first and second preferences.
– Fourth (F4): Brothers and sisters of adult US citizens. 65,000 visas are allocated, plus any number not required by the first three preferences.

The dates for submitting family-sponsored visa applications reflect the dates for submitting visa applications within a time frame that warrants immediate action in the application process. Immigrant visa applicants who have a priority date prior to the application date in the chart below may gather and submit the required documents to the Department of State’s National Visa Center, following receiving notification from the National Visa Center containing detailed instructions.
