After shelling in Dnieper, schools are closed and hospitals are evacuated | Dnepr News

Tonight the enemy insidiously attacked the Dnieper with “Shaheds”. The thermal power plant was targeted by the occupiers. In this regard, one of the hospitals in the city is being evacuated and some schools are temporarily closed, Dnepr Operative reports.

As the mayor of Dnepr Boris Filatov wrote on social networks, the heating system in the hospital is being drained due to the night attack. Palliative patients will be taken out for a while. Schools will be closed not all, but only in Pridneprovsk.

“According to forecasts, cold weather is expected in the near future, but it will not be possible to maintain the system,” the mayor noted.

According to him, instead of catching those who point Russian weapons at critical infrastructure, law enforcement officers are busy with other matters. So, yesterday SBU officers spent the whole day on city dump, “hoping to find firewood stolen there.” In this regard, the mayor addressed politicians, ministers and special officials:

“… remove your dogs by the end of the war. Everyone who installs external surveillance cameras under the gates of utility companies, looks for “RAM,” mocks people, invents criminal cases, earns curses, shoulder straps, titles and bonuses. Every time we have, if not a rocket, then a Shahed, and everyone who can eliminate the accident is under night house arrest or without TCC armor,” he wrote.

Now in Dnieper, utility workers are doing everything possible to quickly eliminate the consequences of the attack. You can warm up and recharge your gadgets in points of indestructibility. There are more than 100 of them throughout the city. The addresses of those closest to you can be found in the “Diya” application.

“Everything you need is there. Generators, alternative heating sources, mobile communications and the Internet. And, of course, drinking water and hot drinks. There are also responsible business centers in the city. We will stand,” Filatov concluded.

Let us remind you that we previously reported regarding where the Dnieper has no water, electricity or heating today. We also wrote regarding the completion of renovations in the city social hostel.
