Las Vegas (USA), February 9 (EFE).- The Los Angeles Lakers this Friday ended a streak of four consecutive victories for the New Orleans Pelicans, in an NBA day in which the Sacramento Kings, led by Domantas Sabonis, hit the table once morest the Denver Nuggets, current champions.
The day was also marked by the eighth defeat in the last nine games of the Philadelphia 76ers, in the debut of Bahamian Buddy Hield, added on Thursday from the Indiana Pacers.
LAKERS 139 – PELICANS 122
The Lakers scored 87 points in the first half and, led by 30 points from D’Angelo Russell, defeated the Pelicans to regain victory following the loss suffered on Thursday once morest the Denver Nuggets.

The Bucks crushed the Hornets at home guided by 26 points and eight assists from Damian Lillard. The Greek Giannis Antetokounmpo contributed a double-double of fifteen points and fourteen assists for the Bucks who ended a three-game losing streak.
The Hornets, who only scored 38 points in the first half, have accumulated ten consecutive losses.

The 76ers continue in free fall, not lifting their heads following the meniscus injury suffered by their leader Joel Embiid. The one they suffered once morest the Hawks was the fourth loss in a row and the eighth in the last nine games.
