Duda clarified his position regarding Crimea: the occupation of Ukraine is a crime

Polish President Andrzej Duda assured that his position on Russian aggression once morest Ukraine is clear: Russia is the occupier, it must play this war, and the free world must help Kyiv.

The Polish leader wrote regarding this on Saturday at network X, reports Ukrinform.

“My actions and position regarding Russia’s brutal aggression once morest Ukraine were and are clear from the first day: Russia violates international law, is an aggressor and an occupier. Russia’s attack on Ukraine and occupation of internationally recognized territories of Ukraine, including Crimea, is a crime. This war cannot end with the victory of Russia. Russian imperialism must be stopped, defeated and blocked for the future,” Duda emphasized.

He added that Ukraine must win, because the free world must win this war.

“We all stand side by side with a free, sovereign and independent Ukraine once morest aggression and brutal imperialism,” wrote the President of the Republic of Poland.

As reported, Andrzej Duda in an interview with Kanal Zero questioned the possibility of deoccupation of Crimea, noting that the peninsula was under Russian control for most of the time. The ambassador of Ukraine to Poland, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, as well as many other Polish politicians reacted to this statement, stressing that Crimea is Ukraine.
