Faced with criticism, according to the aforementioned media, Hassler defended his management by pointing out that “we take on the battle to recover and revitalize Santiago following the abandonment. Santiago is better than two years ago, and with many challenges still ahead.”

And among the main initiatives promoted under his administration, he highlighted the strategy of recovered houses that had been taken over by crime and the Santiago Seguro detachment. In addition to the purchase of new garbage trucks and the perimeter closure of sector 2 of Parque de los Reyes.
