MARKHAM, Ontario and MADISON, WI, March 20, 2020 /PRNewswire/ — Enghouse is expanding its presence in Japan and penetrating the education and events markets

Enghouse Systems Limited (TSX: ENGH) today announced the successful completion of the acquisition of Mediasite, the SaaS video recording and streaming business of Sonic Foundry, Inc. (OTC: SOFO).

The acquisition was completed under a previously announced agreement dated January 4, 2024. With the acquisition of Mediasite, Enghouse expands its presence in the Japanese market and its offering of SaaS video software solutions. These products are used internationally, with a focus on private companies, educational and healthcare institutions, and government agencies.

We are excited to welcome Mediasite’s customers, employees and partners to Enghouse.”

“Enghouse’s experience in complementary video communications solutions makes the acquisition of the Mediasite business ideal,” said Joe Mozden, Jr. of Sonic Foundry. “Enghouse is well positioned to grow this business and meet the needs of our long-term customer base.
