‘While it’s you, the here and time of Carme Elías’, the documentary directed by Claudia Pinto regarding the veteran Catalan actress and the progression of her illness since she was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2019, has won the Goya for best documentary.
The film, whose origin is Elías’s autobiographical book ‘When it is no longer me’, competed with ‘This excessive ambition’, regarding the ‘Sin canto ni afinar’ tour, by C.Tangana; ‘With you, with you and without me’, by Amaya Villar Navascués; ‘Iberia infinite’, by Arturo Menor, and ‘Caleta Palace’, by José Antonio Hergueta, who creates the libertarian Málaga of 1937.
