On the night of this Friday, February 9, passers-by from Batuco, in the commune of Lampa, Metropolitan region, found the body of a man inside a garbage can in the middle of a public street.
Carabineros received a call following a shooting, in the sector of Chile and Errázuriz streets.
At that location, passers-by found the body inside the trash can, reporting it to the uniformed police.
The body corresponds to a Chilean citizen, 30 years old and has multiple gunshot wounds.
The case was left in the hands of the prosecutor of the Organized Crime and Homicide Team (ECOH), Javier Mayer, who was consulted regarding the possible connection of these events with a body found days ago.
“We must investigate what has to do with this fact and once that is done, links can be established. But to establish it it has to be based on some objective element that not only has to do with the place, but also with possible modus operandi or possible perpetrators of the incident,” Mayer stated.
The ECOH team and the Homicide Brigade of the Investigative Police began the expert reports to establish the dynamics of the events and elucidate this crime.
