Marie José Perec, Martin Fourcade, Alain Bernard, Julien Benneteau, Céline Dumec, Alexis Hanquiquant, Emilie Andeol, Michael Jeremiasz… in total around fifty French athletes lent their voices with the aim of making French sport shine in 2024.

This initiative was born last June, during an artistic workshop during the Étoiles du Sport universities bringing together around forty hopefuls in French sport. The athletes, divided into working groups and guided by artists Florent Dasque (Boulevard des Airs) and Eyal, were encouraged to step out of their comfort zone, by recounting their daily life, their joys and sorrows as top-level athletes through a text or a song. Impressed by the enthusiasm of the young people and their involvement in the writing work, the two singers had the idea of writing THE song Étoiles du sport and making it a lively and motivating musical work, inspired by the writings of athletesa press release tells us.

After a few months of arranging the texts and melody, the song was recorded for the Étoiles du Sport winter event last November in Tignes (Savoie). A clip was filmed on this occasion.

« This song is unique because it was co-written by athletes, for athletes, explain Florent Dasque and Eyal. All the athletes received it very well, they recognized themselves in the words, whether they were champions accustomed to major sporting events or young people who were going to discover it for the first time.”

For Sébastien Foucras, the co-founder of the Étoiles du Sport program, “ “Demain c’est Paris” perfectly symbolizes the unity within the Étoiles du Sport family and French sport as a whole. It embodies the spirit of cohesion, transcending generations and disciplines, including both able-bodied and disabled athletes. “Demain c’est Paris” is not just a song, but it is an anthem and an ode to the sporting spirit.”
