Justin Bijlow was injured once more at Feyenoord on Sunday followingnoon. The goalie burst into tears on the field when things went wrong in the first half of the match once morest AZ.

Bijlow built up momentum in the thirtieth minute, when something went wrong with his foot. Off screen, the Feyenoord goalkeeper sat down on the ground, following which it immediately became clear that it was once more an injury. Bijlow’s emotions in this case spoke volumes, he left the field in Alkmaar in tears and accompanied by the medical staff. The audience in the AFAS Stadium still had a nice round of applause for the unfortunate goalie, who was replaced by Timon Wellenreuther.

It is certainly not the first time that Bijlow was injured. This season he suffered a broken wrist, which meant he was absent for several months. In October, Bijlow returned to Feyenoord. It was already the second time that Bijlow broke his wrist, in the past he previously suffered a foot injury and persistent injuries to his toe, elbow, foot and knee kept him sidelined for months.
