Riot Games has expanded its range of partners for the 2024 League of Legends EMEA Championship, as the League of Legends developer has now partnered with Uber Eats, making the food delivery company the official food delivery partner of the esports league for the 2024 season.
Similar to other partnerships, this will include the Uber Eats logo and branding seen throughout Summoner’s Rift and around Riot Games Arena in Germany, with launches planned throughout the season to keep fans engaged.
“We are delighted to welcome Uber Eats as the latest partner to join the LEC this year. We’ve already revealed the return of some of our long-term partners before the start of the season,” said Artem Bykov, LEC Commissioner at Riot Games. “Uber Eats is a giant in its market and we believe the brand will truly resonate with our fan base . We can’t wait to see how the team will enhance the experience for fans watching the LEC every game week.
There was no mention that the deal would span the 2024 season, but there’s no doubt that Riot and Uber Eats will enter renewal talks if the partnership is deemed successful.
