Imran Khan Military Court Riot Judgment: Latest News and Updates

Islamabad – It is reported that the military court is ready to pass judgment once morest former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party chief Imran Khan in connection with the May 9 riots in Pakistan. This was reported by a national media based on the statements of eyewitnesses. It is indicated that the move is to see the riots as very serious and give severe punishment.

There was a huge riot in Pakistan in connection with the arrest of Imran in May. Imran’s supporters went on the rampage in all the major cities including Islamabad, Lahore and Rawalpindi. A police station was set on fire in Islamabad. Many government institutions, police vehicles and media houses were set on fire.

The case was registered once morest more than 100 people. Imran’s allegation was that a move was being made to target him and the party because of the riots. Imran was sentenced to 10 years in prison for revealing official secrets.
