Burberry presents a special project and capsule collection that colors Harrods Department Store in London, England, with the brand’s signature color, ‘Night Blue’. The awning surrounding Harrods was reborn as a tent cover in Burberry’s seasonal check pattern, capturing the spirit of exploration that is the brand’s DNA.
The shop windows were decorated with camping supplies such as ropes, tarpaulins, carabiners, etc. At night, the exterior of Harrods is colored with Burberry’s new signature color ‘Night Blue’ presented by Daniel Lee, catching the attention of passers-by. Harrods’ Green Man uniform is transformed into the night blue check pattern of Burberry’s ’24 spring collection. This is the first time that a fashion house has redesigned Harrods’ uniform.
Inside, a pop-up space will be created to showcase the Burberry capsule collection released to commemorate this collaboration. Burberry’s capsule collection, which consists of over 40 products, encompasses women’s, men’s, children’s, and accessory products and is available only for the month of February. In addition, 175 teddy bears, picnic baskets and mats will also be presented to commemorate Harrods’ 175th anniversary.
Burberry’s Harrods Takeover runs until February 29, 2024.
