In comparison, the widened version of the Lightning connector is nearly twice as wide as the Lightning connector traditionally used by Apple, providing stronger power output.

Earlier, Apple was forced by EU regulations to use USB-C connectors on its mobile phones and other devices, but AR/VR devices were not included. Therefore, Vision Pro is not restricted and can use non-USB-C connectors.
