Rosselkhoznadzor has restricted the import of Farmina Pet Foods because arsenic was found in them. Representatives of the department reported this.

“Due to the repeated detection of arsenic in animal feed, Rosselkhoznadzor introduced temporary restrictions on the Serbian enterprise Farmina Pet Foods from January 31. These feeds do not meet quality standards,” RIA Novosti reports, citing department data.

According to Rosselkhoznadzor, from February 6, a restriction will be introduced on the import of pet food from the Italian manufacturer of the American company Hill’s. Department specialists recognized these feeds as being of poor quality.
