Working abroad is one of the dreams of many Colombians who hope to improve their quality of life in another country. This is confirmed by the survey by the statistics firm CID Gallup, where a 49% of those surveyed mentioned their desire to emigrate.

Among the most desired destinations for Colombians is Europe, so the SENA Public Employment Agency has announced a new call that benefits an important group of Colombians.

Job offers for Colombians in Germany
Through its website, in the calls section, an offer was published for nurses or health professionals who want to go to practice their profession in Germany.
Therefore, they are in search of 50 nurses that fulfill the following functions:
- Administer medications and treatments prescribed by the doctor.
- Assist in surgery and other medical procedures
- Assist in procedures such as respiratory and intravenous therapy, application of sterile compresses and removal of sutures.
- Consult with other members of the health care team to determine, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
- Coordinate nursing services with other health services
- Develop and implement prevention and health education programs
- Direct and provide comprehensive health care to the person, family, community and their environment, intervening in diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and health recovery.
- Guarantee the quality of the application of nursing methods and procedures to users and compliance with administrative processes.
- Observe, record, and report symptoms and changes in patients’ conditions.
- Operate or monitor medical devices or equipment
- Participate in the establishment of regulations and procedures
- Participate in the selection, evaluation and professional development process of nursing staff.
- Supervise assistants and other nursing staff
Monthly salary: $ 12.500.000 – $ 15.000.000
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing and professional card issued by the OCE.
- Experience: two (2) years of experience.
- Language: no requirement. The German course is paid for by the company to the selected candidates
