His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, emphasized the role of health sector institutions in raising the efficiency of comprehensive health care services provided to members of society, and the sustainable development of its tools and methods of delivery, according to high standards, that meet the future aspirations of this sector.
This came during a meeting with His Highness, in his office at the Amiri Diwan, with Dr. Muhammad Al-Hamoudi, Director of the Fujairah Medical District.
His Highness noted the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, on the necessity of employing qualitative and innovative practices in health care and therapeutic services, and adhering to leadership standards in developing the health sector system in the emirate, in line with the vision of the UAE and its national efforts in this field.
During the meeting, His Highness was briefed on the latest work and developments in the health sector in the emirate, and the future plans of the Fujairah Medical District. His Highness also listened to the outcomes of the First International Conference on Orthopedic Surgery, which the emirate hosted this January.
His Highness stressed the importance of partnerships and joint work between relevant institutions from inside and outside the country, with the aim of developing the health sector in the emirate, and applying the best and most advanced medical practices in the field of providing health care services to the community. His Highness also appreciated the efforts of the Fujairah Medical District in supporting the pillars of public health and community protection, educating its members, and providing advanced health services.
Dr. Muhammad Al-Hamoudi extended his thanks and appreciation to His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah, for His Highness’s support and follow-up of the progress of work in the health sector system in Fujairah.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al-Zeyoudi, Director of the Office of His Highness the Crown Prince of Fujairah.
