Recently, actress Natalie Portman and her husband, choreographer Benjamin Millepied, were said to have broken up. The “Black Swan” actress and her husband have been married since 2011 and have a happy married life. Sources close to Natalie Portman revealed that the actress initially tried to mend her relationship with her husband for the sake of her children. However, the loss of faith made her unable to overcome the challenge.

“Natalie has officially ended her marriage,” an insider revealed. Previously, Natalie Portman, who always maintained a “clean” public persona, was said to have faced depression when news of her husband’s affair was revealed. “She tried very hard to forgive Benjamin, she didn’t want a divorce at all, but mightn’t get over the betrayal.”

The couple went to psychologists to find a way to reconcile to preserve their children’s happiness. However, the trust was “irretrievably broken”, causing Portman to decide that the marriage needed to end.

In mid-2023, Us Weekly reported that Natalie and Benjamin had separated following the choreographer’s cheating scandal. A source revealed: “After news of Benjamin’s affair came out, they tried to mend their marriage but there is no result yet.”

Natalie herself appeared to hint at a split during a public appearance in Sydney a few days earlier. She did not wear her wedding ring when she attended an event on August 4, which coincided with her and Benjamin’s 11th wedding anniversary.

Benjamin was first accused of having an affair in June. He was said to have had an affair with Camille Etienne, following being seen with the 25-year-old climate activist. Despite feeling “humiliated” by the cheating rumors, Natalie was said to still be trying to maintain her marriage with Benjamin at the time.

“Natalie believes Benjamin’s affair was brief and stupid and meant nothing to him,” a source told Us Weekly in June 2023, while another source added that the French dancer “regrets” his wrongdoing.

Natalie Portman was born in 1981, is an Israeli-American. She won the Oscar “Best Actress” for her role in the psychological thriller “Black Swan” (2010) and Best Supporting Actress at the 2004 Golden Globes for her role as a mysterious stripper in the film. “Closer” (2004).

She and choreographer Benjamin met while working together on “Black Swan”. They got married in 2011 and have son Aleph (12 years old) and daughter Amalia (6 years old).
