Dubai ∙ Dubai has announced a Dh50 crore International Growth Fund to provide financial assistance to small and medium enterprises to expand globally. The innovative project was announced by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Executive Council. Dubai is providing opportunities for entrepreneurs to rise to the global level by improving the business environment in the emirate. The project is a testament to Dubai’s commitment to global entrepreneurs who have chosen Dubai to build their business ventures. It will also accelerate the achievement of the objectives of the Dubai Economic Development Agenda D33.

Emirates NBD has partnered with Emirates NBD to launch a new scheme to help all small and medium business owners who have started in Dubai, regardless of their country, expand their business internationally. Further details of financial assistance will be announced in February. Bank financial assistance will be provided without charging additional margin. A joint steering committee comprising representatives of the Government of Dubai and Emirates NBD will be formed to identify beneficiaries.
