Apple has introduced collaborative Apple Music playlists, and this feature allows you to take any of your existing playlists or create a new one and then invite others to join in to add and listen to songs, according to macrumors.
How to collaborate on a playlist
Open the Music app on your device iPhone On the Library tab, select Playlists. Tap New Playlist, name your playlist and add a photo if desired, then tap Create.
From here, you can either start adding music to your playlist, or start inviting other users to it, tap the round icon that looks like a person in the upper-right corner of the screen.
If you want to approve collaborators, tap the switch, otherwise anyone with the link can join, then tap Start Collaboration.
Share the link using one of the options on the share sheet. Note that links are only valid for seven days.
Once someone joins a playlist, they can start contributing to it. If you ever want to view the participants, remove someone, or copy the playlist link back, just tap the icon, now made up of two silhouettes of two people. You can Also use this list to generate a QR code to allow people to access the playlist.
When participants start collaborating, each track will include a photo of the person who added it, and when you play a song, you’ll also see who contributed the track to the playlist.
