Here we go once more ! The Candlemas funfair opened its doors on Saturday January 27, 2024, in Alençon (Orne). It is installed in the parking lot located in front of Anova Park until Sunday February 18, 2024.
New features to remain attractive
Around a hundred attractions are open to the public, including six new ones. Of these, three are considered blue zones.
Each year, we are entitled to three blue zones. We install completely new attractions there or which have not been on site for a long time. The idea is to have a rotation in new products to remain attractive.

Of the six new thrill rides, two of them are making their first stay in France: the “Ministry of Sound” and the “Skyflyer”. The “Roller Bowl”, the “Disco Jet”, the “Maya Tower”, and the “Avengers” complete this club of six.
Who says funfair obviously means candy stands. Churros and crepes will be served during these three festive weeks. Enough to regain your strength for the unmissable Haunted House or the classic claw machines.

As with every inauguration, local elected officials, including Joaquim Pueyo, the mayor of Alençon, took a tour of the fair in the company of the queen of the 2024 Alençon Fair, Louisy Papion, aged 14.

Entertainment and mascots will be on site on Sundays January 28, February 4 and 11. Pascal Soetens, better known as Pascal the Big Brother, will also be present on Saturday February 3.
