A pedestrian who was at a level crossing was killed by a train this Sunday morning, south of Toulouse.
The Haute-Garonne firefighters were alerted shortly following 7 a.m. of an accident on the railway, between a pedestrian and a TER at a level crossing in the town of Pinsaguel. The man, around 50 years old according to an initial assessment from the Haute-Garinne departmental fire and rescue service, had died.

The 181 passengers present on the TER were not injured during the impact and emergency braking of the train. Rail traffic was cut in both directions between Toulouse and Auterive and was not expected to resume until around 9:30 a.m.
