Weather researcher and founding member of the Climate Nomenclature Committee, Abdulaziz Al-Hussaini, said: The atmosphere at dawn today is cold in the regions of the Kingdom, and the sky is partly cloudy in the central, eastern, central, western and southern parts of the Kingdom.

Al-Hussaini explained: Through his account on the “X” platform, Jeddah Governorate recorded 19 degrees Celsius at dawn today, Sunday, for the first time since the onset of winter this year, and the lowest temperature recorded at dawn today was 2 degrees Celsius in Turaif, and the highest temperature in Jazan was 25 degrees Celsius, and Riyadh. Medina and Abha are 12 degrees Celsius, and Dammam is 13 degrees Celsius.

He added: “We are on a long vacation for male and female students, and the atmosphere is suitable for kashta and hiking in most areas,” noting that “those who stay at night need heavy clothing in the northern, central, eastern, eastern, western, and southern highlands.”

He continued: “The winds are mostly light to moderate, but the central coast of the Red Sea is expected to have moderate to semi-strong winds, as well as the southeastern and central regions and parts of the southwestern part of the Kingdom extending towards parts of the Emirates, unless God distracts them.”

He added: “Today, light and scattered rain is expected in the far north of the Kingdom, extending to parts of the Emirates and Oman.”
